This is a 7 year old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey matured initially in a Bourbon cask for 5 years 10 months, then finished for 1 year 3 months in a Red Moscatel cask.
Single Pot Still finished in a Red Moscatel cask, with jammy red fruit notes combined with pot still spice and texture. As you savour these special releases from The Bridge Series, you are joining The Lough Ree Distillery journey.
Túath is the old Irish for people, tribe or nation as in Tuatha Dé Danann (“People of the godess Danu”, a supernatural race in Irish mythology). The Túath glass was created specifically for the enjoyment of Irish whiskey, a lot of thought, care and time has gone in to creating the Túath glass.
A single drop can change your whiskey.......
Featuring the iconic Skellig Michael, each dropper is handmade making each piece unique. Whiskey comprises of various flavour compounds which arrange themselves in a particular "pattern" when water is added this alters, changing the flavour profile.
Simply dip the dropper into the water, place your finger over the hole and then slowly release one drop at a time into your whiskey.
