A very unique wine – made in Ireland by David Llewellyn, Ireland’s first producer of sparkling wine. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with some Shiraz and Cabernet Franc. The wine is a blend of vintages 2019 to 2021, and was aged on lees in bottle for 24 months before disgorging. Minimal dosage, just enough to accentuate the natural fruitiness.
Salmon pink in colour. On the nose there are notes of strawberries and other red fruits. On the palate the wine is fresh, fruity, reminiscent of summer fruits, with a perfectly balanced fresh acidity. A truly delicious sparkling wine with very broad appeal.
