We are excited to announce that Paolo Cottini's new Amarone Riserva 2016 is now available. Only 1400 bottles were produced by Paolo with only 120 dedicated export in total. Finally after almost 8 years we are almost ready to show you the results of their hard work. This delicious wine has the same blend and the percentage of grapes (Corvina 55%, Corvinone 35%, Rondinella 10%)as his highly accclaimed Amarone Classico. The difference is that the ageing process takes place in a single large 10h barrel of new French oak for a period of 6 years followed by at least one year in the bottle. Starting from the 2016 vintage Paolo selected the best grapes during the appassimento phase (about 90-110 days) The wines age for 6 years in a single new oak 10hl barrel and represent the best expression of Paolo's wine.
