PHAUNUS PET NAT WHITE 2022
The Phaunus Pet Nat is a natural, ecological and biodynamic sparkling wine made with the Loureiro variety in the Portuguese denomination Vinho Verde by Aphros Wines.
The wine comes from a 20-hectare vineyard. The vines are cultivated using biodynamic agriculture with organic treatments and permaculture techniques, always seeking the perfect balance between plants, animals and humans. The grapes are harvested manually.
The grapes (50% Loureiro and 50% Arinto) are left to macerate on the skins and then pressed. The resulting must is fermented in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts at a temperature between 14 and 16 degrees. Fermentation finishes in the bottle without yeasts or added sugars and disgorging takes place 5 months later.
A super refreshing Pet Nat with floral aromas, and notes of citrus and herbs. It’s got a light, refreshing and pleasant palate. A fine bubble wine with good pressure and a citrus flavour accompanied by hints of sweetness. This is an ideal wine for aperitif, light fishy foods, olives and crudites. ABV 10.5%
