The Port ‘n’ Peat Storehouse Special is a premium blended Whiskey with around 45% Malt (of which 5% is Peated). The Malt component is mainly 5-6 year old Great Northern finished in really fresh Tawny Port casks as well as some 14 year old Cooley. The Grain is 5 & 6 year old Great Northern stock, around half of which is finished in Ruby Port casks. A really easy drinking Whiskey; neither Port nor Peat overpowers the other at this level - instead the Peat highlights some of the fruit flavours in the Whiskey. 46% ABV
